Desinfect your Cell Phone - Step by Step Guide

1. The easiest way to desinfect your cell phone is to download a software, that will remove the bugs from your cell phone. 2. Another easy way how to desinfect your cell phone is to download the removal tool that was designed exactly for the virus you are infected with. You can find these removal tools for cell phones viruses here.

You can use step one or two only if you can get the software or the desinfection tool into your cell phone. There are two ways, how to do this. First - if you have your WAP working, then go directly to the web addresses mentioned in step 1. or 2. and download the software or tool into your cell phone and run it. If you don't have WAP, but you can connect to your computer (over data connection cable or Bluetooth), then download the files to your computer, then transfer it into your cell phone and run it in the cell phone. Remember - the software and tools designed for cell phones will not run on your computer! You have to transfer it into your phone and only there it will work.

Theoretically there is another way, how to get the files into your cell phone - ask your friend (who can get the files by WAP or data cable) to download the files and then tranfer it from his (her) phone into yours via Bluetooth. BUT THIS MAY BE DANGER FOR YOUR FRIEND! Why? If you are infected and your friend come close enough to establish the Bluetooth connection to you, then he (she) might be infected from your phone (if he (she) is not careful enough)!

3. If you can't use your WAP or can't connect to your computer or get the files via Bluetooth from your friend, then you have to desinfect your cell phone manually. It might be tricky - if you delete some important files in your cell phone, it may not work properly later. 4. If you tried everything and it doesn't work, then the last option is to flash (format) your cell phone. But REMEMBER - if you format your cell phone, YOU WILL LOOSE ALL YOUR DATA that are in your cell phone (contacts, messages, pictures etc.)! How to format your cell phone? It is for surre written in the manual that you received with your cell phone. They may call it a "factory reset" in the manual.
